This is a 100% refundable deposit to be first in line to receive a Magic Drive hub motor kit from Grin and Charge Bike. It will be based around a helical-cut geared rear hub motor with 135 mm dropouts that has both a cog and (optional) disc rotor mounted to the planet carrier on the right side.
It gives you a bicycle with no gears to shift, so you can ride at any cadence and any speed. You get regenerative braking by pushing back on the cranks, or Freegen braking with brake levers on the handlebar.
