Nine Continent Kits
The Nine Continent FH212 (front) and RH212 (rear) are direct drive hub motors: no gears, so they run silently, brake regeneratively, and hold up for the long haul. They are the value pick in our lineup, a powerful and reliable motor at a lower price, with a 212mm rotor that makes more torque than the generic 205mm motors they replaced. The rear takes a modern Shimano cassette rather than an old threaded freewheel, and a stout 14mm axle resists spinout when you run regen. The trade-off is weight: at about 6.5 kg they are the heaviest motor here, best for riders who want power and durability on a budget and don't mind the heft. Fits slotted dropouts.
