Shengyi SX Kits
The Shengyi SX1 (front) and SX2 (rear) are medium-power geared hub motors: a step up from the Bafang G310, without going all the way to an eZee or GMAC. Helical-cut gears make them silent, and a built-in clutch lets them freewheel with no drag when you ride unpowered. Each motor carries a combined speed and temperature sensor, so paired with our Baserunner and a Cycle Analyst they read out motor temperature and automatically roll back power on a long climb before anything overheats.
