GMAC Kits
The GMAC is a rear-wheel geared hub motor, built with MAC motors, that does something most geared motors can't: powerful regenerative braking. You get the strong low-speed climbing torque of a geared hub together with regen that saves your brake pads and puts range back in your battery on the descents, normally the preserve of heavier direct-drive motors. It runs a modern cassette freehub so you keep your gears, with an integrated no-play torque arm for a secure mount on almost any frame. For the full technical rundown, see the GMAC info page.
