A friend lost the strength to squeeze any object with either hand. So using traditional hand brake levers and throttles would not be possible. So we created an E-bike from frame using Grin parts to make it work. Solution: Us a direct drive motor on the front wheel for electronic braking activated by a palm press on the brake button. A kickback braking rear hub was the brakes for the rear. I installed an NCTE bottom bracket for throttle and PAS control. I worked well for her.
