Cargo Bike

Grin All-Axle

Powerful

Belt

A Bullitt cargo bike with a powerful All-Axle front hub motor and tons of battery capacity. Please see linked Google doc for a more complete write-up. Thanks Grin for helping me make a dream bike!!

I'm very lucky to have a good friend who's a sheet metal wizard. He fabb'ed up this great set of trays that hold two big flat-pack 36v batteries. — Battery trays

Phaserunner on the far left. As it's not in the wind I installed it on a pair of Grin heatsink frames. Then there's a 36v bottle battery that powers all of the accessories (lights, horn, etc.) That battery can also serve as a motor battery backup in an pinch. — Cockpit view

Very proud of my new front end, with its suspension fork, cable steering, carbon fender and of course a Grin All-Axle motor! — New front end

A Bullitt-specific design I made for gathering accessory wires in one safe location. — Junction box for accessories power

Not so bad, for my first electric bike build! Thanks Grin for the advice — Cable management at handlebar

Very happy with the lights obtained from Grin. Up front there's a pair of small C7's that are always on. Then an SPL-01 center beam that I turn on at dusk. The rear-facing red lights are the little Roxims also sold by Grin. Everything runs off the central bottle battery. Thanks Grin! — Lights setup
