Originally built to be a fun thing to ride during the weekend and as something to add to my projects portfolio this electric longboard has turned into my primary form of transportation. Over 3000km later and many upgrades its still going strong as my daily good weather commuter (with some fun rides on the weekends) Range 25-30km at 40-50kph

I bought parts from amazon and hobby king to start off with. Now I buy them from AliExpress as they have the same parts for cheaper — Getting parts together

After programing the VESC I tested the motors and motor direction — Testing motors

Used a leftovers container because they are waterproof, later on I realized that it was to thick for speed bumps — Attached a container to hold the electronics and batteries

Testing started with lots of fun evening rides on gravel paths around where I used to live — Started riding

This is the first of 3 battery's I've used to power my longboard, I started by using 6s LIPO 6AH batteries. They went bad after only a few charges as they were cheep and had a very bad power density. I will never again use LIPO batteries If I can help it — Old battery and electronics enclosure

This battery was made from broken cell packs grin had on hand. Its a 12S4P ~12AH pack. with a 40A BMS using LG cells. I 3D printed an enclosure for this battery and it worked well for me for over 2000km. I decided to upgrade it however as it was still pretty thick and was getting very warm from the high currents my LB pulled, especially during summer. — The second battery for the longboard but the first I made

These are sets of 1s 4p cell groups to be combined together to create a 12S 4P FLEXABLE battery pack. I'm using samsung 40T cells. I had enough of overeating and voltage sag. — Starting the current battery build samsung 40Ts

With this pack being made from Samsung 40T cells the Battery put together is rated for 16Ah, 140A constant draw without overheating and a max charging draw of 26A (I normally charge at 8A as I'm using a satiator) — Flexible Battery put together in the 3dprited flex housing I designed.

Electronics are held at the very end. I attached a cute 50A BMS as I doubted I would actually pull over 50A for very long. — Putting the battery and electronics on the board

53kph top speed (tested many times it was 60kph but I needed bigger motors so its 53 now ), ~30Km range, more power then I've ever felt comfortable using, Charges theoretically from 0 -100% in abut 45min headlight 1900lm wheels 6inch all in all a good time and a fun ride. — The results...
