I was curious about e-bikes and wanted to try converting my old 2010 Kona Mountain Bike. After much consideration and research I selected the Shengyi SX2 Rear CA3 Kit (500w Rear Hub motor with 48V down tube battery). Thank you to Grin for all the help and support along the way!

Photos start with stock bike, then main conversion completed and finally removal of stock handlebar, replaced with a Nitto Bosco – HT Alloy 580mm, comfort curved raised handle bar! Could not be happier, what a comfortable ride now (I am 57 years old, and my body could not take that classic mountain bike posture anymore!)
