Xtracycle freeradical coupled to Surly 1x1, Shimano nexus 3 hub. Hauled girlfriend around for a couple of years with this setup. Successfully fooled girlfriend into becoming wife (40%credit to bike) and swapped 1x1 frame for instigator and ogre forks.
Had kids and moved to a house with a giant hill. Kids got heavy and I couldn’t handle it anymore, tapped out, bought a front wheel ezee kit from grin in 2019. Changed my life. Much improved with CA steerer bracket, triple bob (no more throwing battery in bag), Roxim x4 front light, and Roxim r1 rear light.
We ride this year round with Schwalbe ice spiker pros in winter.
