My first e-bike conversion. I thought it would be easy to convert my old race bike into an ebike.That "simple" project ended up a year of research, sourcing parts from all over the world, wrenching, grinding, modding, fabrication, and creative problem solving, but it's been a labor of love.
- 2001 Pro XL Powerlite P40 Warhawk Aluminum Race frame and handlebars
- eZee Rear Fast Wind Geared hub motor with locked clutch for regen on 20" Salt Plus Summit Rim
- V6 L10 Baserunner to Superharness for display, throttle and lights
- Efneo GTRO 3 speed internally geared front gearbox with a 53T chainring and a single speed rear 16T flywheel
- Gouach "Infinite Battery" Rebuildable 13S3P battery pack with Samsung 30Q cells (3000mAH, 15A discharge)
- Cane Creek Thudbuster Suspension seatpost, Zoom Masera cheapo suspension fork (will be upgraded one day)
- Rebuilt front wheel with a disc hub to upgrade front brakes to hydraulic disc
- 21.25" TT, front wheel 20" x 2.125", rear wheel 20" x 1.75"
