I converted a Rans Stratus XP "K" frame to a front hub geared drive PAS system using Grin Technologies G311 Front CA3 Kit. After a year and a half and 4000 miles, no issues at all. Extremely fun to ride! The added weight in the front improves the bikes handling, and as a bonus, makes starting from a dead stop (or high gear) very easy!!
