Tandem Bike

I purchased a used Roland tandem to convert into an electric bike. With a new robust front fork to mount the Ezee motor to, I then lowered the bike with 24" Big Apple fat tires mounted to BMX rims. Braking is done using a 205 mm front disk rotor and Shimano roller brake on the rear Nuvinci 360 shifter. The downtube battery slides onto the rear rack.

The mid chain worried me as it was not covered. I made a chain guard for it that fits the new name. — Tango Cruiser
