A solar assisted tandem e-bike

The world is your oyster on this rig. Range is unlimited! — Two on a solar tandem

Three panels and a clear sky deliver about 530 watt. The 28Ah battery then charges quickly! 2x225 Watt panels on the trailer, 1x90watt on the solar windshield. 3x Genasun converters. 1x pedal generator — Pit-stop at the free solar gas station

Holland has a rich network of cycle paths. Some very petty, nearly all of them separate from auto roads. It's like discovering a new country — Discover a new country

Taking a spin in the evening — Nightrider

My grandson loves going for a spin along the dykes. He's pedalling the passenger generator (a reverse Bafang motor with software smoothing of the 'dead spot') — Fun for all ages!

Some of my recent trips on the Solar Explorer — Recent trips

In 45 minutes you are ready to go! — Relax in the shade while the sun does its work

Bike in the hold, me asleep in a cabin — Night ship over the English Channel

There's a free solar gas station wherever the sun appears — Hyde Park in London
