Solar car powered by 3x Grin Tech All-Axle Motors laced into a 20-inch rim with a fast winding—1720-watt solar array (8x 215-watt residential solar panels)—3kwh 18650 battery pack 72 volts. It is powered by three Phaserunner controllers—custom-designed and welded chassis. Plastic aerobody, various pieces are waterjet and 3d printed, then attached with structural adhesive.
Top speed is about 50 mph on the flats. The total vehicle weight without a driver is 594 lbs without a driver. Custom designed and manufactured a polycarbonate bubble canopy/hood.
Designed and built for continent crossing, the plan is to drive her from NYC to LA this upcoming July!
