Dyol Bidirectional Throttle, Left
High Quality American Made 2-Way Throttle from Dyol, Left Side. All Metal Construction. Roll In to Accellerate, Roll Back for Regen. Adapted for 1V Signal Offset
This is finally a high-quality throttle option that we are glad to offer. The Dyol throttle was primarily designed for stand-up electric scooters to provide a more seamless interaction between throttling and regenerative braking. We have adapted this device with an interface circuit to level shift a 2.5V centered signal to work in the 1-4V acceleration and 0-1V regen range of our systems.
- Cable Length: 40 cm
- Works best on left side of handlebar
- Sits at 1V in middle position. Increases to 4V rolling forwards, and drops to 0V rolling backwards.
- Hinged clamp, No need to slide off hand grips to install.
- Uses 3 pin Higo style connector.
Note, this bidirectional throttle is supported for Superharness or Headless systems. Support for bidirectional throttles with a V3 Cycle Analyst is only in Alpha stage and requires installing CA3.2a25 alpha firmware, in addition to reterminting the Higo plug to JST. As well, the current draw of a Dyol throttle (~20mA) is excessive and limits the current available for torque/PAS sensors. We recommend the bidirectional twist throttle for alpha Cycle Analyst users isntead.
