The small and silent G310 geared hub motor is a great choice for those who want a discrete motor to provide assistance while riding, without heavy hill climbing and hauling expectations. The helical cut gears are totally quiet and it freewheels with no motor drag when pedaling unassisted. If a downtube battery pack is selected, we will mount the baserunner controller inside the battery cradle for a very clean install.
The barebones system uses a throttle with an integrated on/off switch and voltage readout, but doesn't have a fully featured display or options for PAS / Torque sensors. This makes it great for simple and clean ebike builds that want to avoid any additional complexity.
The throttle also includes two extra wires for running a front bike light and hooking up an optional ebrake cutoff sensor.
