Dual front/rear hub motors gives the greatest possible power and hill climbing potential for ebike conversions, and using a direct drive All-Axle on the rear and a geared motor on the front has several advantages.
You get the benefit of torque sensing and regenerative braking from the rear hub, while the front geared motor freewheels and so provides extra boost for hill climbing without adding any additional drag when you pedal.
The CA3 kit comes with your choice of battery packs, both torque sensing and throttle control, and various means of regenerative brake modulation including back pedal regen.
- Front geared motor (SX1 or eZee) requires fork with slotted dropouts
- Rear Motor also compatible with both quick release and and thru-axle dropouts
- Features integrated torque or PAS sensing in the rear motor with no extra hardware to install
