Front wheel conversion kit for folding bicycles based around a 250-500 Watt Direct-Drive motor with the standard M12 Axle with 10mm flats. For Dahon, Bike Friday, and similar folding bikes with narrow 75mm forks but standard dropout width. Including the Baserunner motor controller tucked neatly in a downtube battery, the CA3 with accessories, and pedal assist systems. This setup includes everything configured out of the box for the ideal for a minimal, lightweight commuter ebike with pedalec control.

The M12x1.25 axle is compatible with our standard front torque arms.
The V3 Cycle Analyst is an integral part of this kit system that ties together the throttle, ebrake, PAS, and torque sensor signals into a highly configurable platform that can be readily customized for a range of performance behaviors you can't get anywhere else. As a display it may look a tad clunky, but the functionality it offers is simply unparalleled and continues to increase with each new firmware release.

There are a number of optional electronic and mechanical accessories that can help flush out the build. This includes front and rear bike lights, phone chargers, wire management, programming cables, and what have you.
The kit will run with any battery pack from 24V to 52V nominal (and up to 72V with a Phaserunner). We offer a range of batteries that will work well depending on the geometry of your bike, the range you need on a charge, and how fast you want to go. Be sure to select a charger model that matches the voltage (36V, 48V, or 52V) and connector style (ST3 or XLR) of the chosen pack.
