Terratrike Single Side Adapter

This adapter set bolts onto the Single Side Adapter Plate on the disc side of Grin's All-Axle motor for single side mounting to the spindle of Terratrike tadpole trikes, securing the motor axle to the trike frame via the disk caliper mounting holes. The same adapter can be used on both the left and right side wheels by simply flipping the adapter piece 180 degrees. Terratrikes come with 20mm axles which require using our V2 motor design.

The All-Axle motor is wider than the standard Terra Trike wheel hubs. This means that the stock M16 screw that holds the wheel on is not long enough to engage the threads. You will need to source a longer bolt to screw into the end of the axle and hold the motor in place.   

From customer feedback an M16x1.5mm pitch bolt that is 50mm long does the trick quite well.   (ex https://www.mcmaster.com/91180A814/)
