Cycle Analysts

The Cycle Analyst has been our flagship product since we first introduced it as a DrainBrain device in the summer of 2006. This is a universal dashboard for ebikes and other EV systems, and has evolved to include many advanced feedback and control capabilities as well. The V2 Cycle Analyst line (CA-DP, CA-DPS, CA-HC) was discontinued at the end of 2021, and currently the more fully featured V3 Cycle Analysts are produced in a few cable variants.

The CA3-DPS model is the only device still to use the 6 pin JST plug standard, and provides compatibility with older motor controllers or with our Stand Alone CA3 shunt.

Otherwise the CA3-WPx Device with MFSwitch is best for any controllers that have the new waterproof WP8 CA plug on as it provides on/off power control at the handlebar. The CA3-WP is appropriate if you won't want the Cycle Analyst to have on/off.

Finally the CA3-HC high current model does away with a single controller plug and instead uses bare wires with ring terminals to connect with high amperage current shunt resistors for applications sensing 100A or more.
