Baserunner_Z9 Controller, Stand Alone Model
V3 Baserunner_Z9 Field Oriented Motor Controller. Stand Alone Model has Battery Cable on Same End as Motor, Not Compatible with Downtube Batteries. Z910 Motor Plug. 55A Peak Phase Currents (~30A Continuous), for 24-52V Batteries (60V Max Input).
The Baserunner_Z9 is a compact field-oriented motor controller and enclosure that fits inside the Hailong and Reention downtube battery cradles. It is compatible with up to 14s (58V) battery packs, handles up to 55A peak phase current, and is terminated with an Z910 waterproof HiGo motor plug.
V3 Model has a demux circuitry on the white signal wire of the Z910 cable to support motor temperature sensors, wheel speed sensors, and also combined temp/speed signaling.
It has the following two signal plugs:
- 8-pin HiGo plug for CA3-WP control (To convert the WP8 to a classic CA-DP, you must purchase an adapter.)
- 3-pin JST-SM connector for direct throttle hookup. Inside the heathshrink are unterminated leads for on/off switch and optional fwd/rev inputs.
A computer setup is required to configure this controller to a given motor, and this requires the USB->TTL communications cable if you don't already have one. Users without an on-off switch on their battery should expect to wire in a separate switch on their own. Full Baserunner Information Page.
