There were x2 18 Volt 5AH Makita Batteries at the beginning of the build process. I needed a more extensive battery so I went to the bottle batteries. It needed about 4 batteries to get me from work back home but it was nice to try at first to see what I was getting myself into.I was skeptical about the size of the motor in the 26” tire, but it works phenomenal.
