Rivendell Rosco Bubbe 650B frame, SX1 front hub motor, Enviolo rear stepless hub, Mac Ride child seat, Schmidt overpriced but very nice front & rear, battery-powered lights, downtube battery mounted on jerry-rigged rear rack plywood platform, yellow electric tape, hemp twine, zip ties, pregnant life partner, impish son, 45NRTH Gravdal tires for winter riding.
minor PAS problems
With the 24-pole PAS and my crank spindles, even intense amounts of filing could not get the opening of the PAS large enough to have the PAS mount flush against the bottom bracket shell, requiring double-sided tape and extra yellow electric tape. Every several weeks, I need to coax the PAS a few microns closer to the BB shell. Maybe the 12-pole PAS would fit better.
Winter commuting
The 45NRTH tires are fantastic, allowing real all-season riding. Global warming has fortunately/unfortunately obviated the need for any bizarro hand warming and protection system. Our little guy isn't the most macho 5-year-old around, but even he has no problems with the riding in winter.
