Tandem Bike
A used low mileage Primera was the perfect platform for the conversion. The long, open bottom beam permitted a battery placement with a low center of gravity. The Grin slow wind All Axel rear motor with torque sensor and the recent CA update enabled regen breaking which is absolutely awesome for a tandem. The only challenge was the need to add 4mm spacers to the timing chain side to accommodate the width of the battery. We've put just over 100 miles on the clock and still have 75% on the 48V 19 AH battery. Special thanks to Miguel for his support and patience.
