Our custom touring bikes made by Pedro Jeronimo with 18 speed Pinion Gearbox and Grin rear hub motor systems each with 5 Ligo Batteries for air travel.
Grin Hub Motor System
Mine has the Nine Continent RH212 hub and my wife has lighter Shangi SX2 hub with welded clutch. The RH212 hub powers my fully loaded touring bike up 20%+ grades with no problem. The lighter Shangi SX2 powers to about 18% grade before stalling out. Both are set up for regenerative breaking which with a loaded touring bike often giving us 30% or more extra range each day and saves so much wear and tear on our breaks.
