This is my Catrike Road (bought used its 10 years old) that i re-built for my wife and our 7 months old daughter. Its got a Grin 900 watt hours battery, baserunner controller, CA3, PAS sensor, Throttle and a 212 Fast wind motor built into a 20 inch wheel.
I've equipped the bike with a dual brake lever and switch for regen to get a really powerful braking system under heavy load :), power is limited to 900 watt witch is plenty even on the steepest hills. The motorcycle steering damper and the 2.4-inch Maxxis tires contribute to a stable and comfortable ride.
Its gear configuration is: single speed 3.4:1 ratio so she cannot be outrun by the motor, at least, under 30 km/hours. We do long biking tour around Canada, next upgrade is gonna be solar on top of the kid trailer, Cheers all!
