The factory method of e-bike conversion uses a front wheel hub motor and a large downtube battery that is mounted to the bottom center tube after the rubber floor is cut out. My approach used a Grin front hub motor with Phaserunner controller and 4 Ligo batteries secured to the bottom floor surface. The result is a cleaner look without the bulky downtube battery.

Since the bike will be using regenerative braking, dual torque arms were used — Front motor installed with side by side torque arms

Besides the Grin CA3, this bike uses a motorcycle front and rear video system for safety. — Instrument Cluster

LIGO batteries are the ideal size to place in the floor area and be out of sight. — LIGO Batteries

Motorcycle camera system was used due the the high IP rating for moisture. — Rear Camera
