Since the Freecross comes with a 16 speed rear IGH, the only other power solution is dual front side axle motors. With dual baserunner controllers, a PAS bottom bracket, CA3 and large downtube battery, this bike can go fast! Additionally, dual front headlights and rear lights from Grin with a raised instrument cluster give it ergonomic function. There is also a front/rear camera system installed to record rides.

A custom stainless steel front bracket was fabricated for the Topeak rear rack. — Downtube battery cradle mounted onto Topeak rear rack.

This rack set up is robust and will easily support the largest downtube battery pack. — 52V Downtube battery mounted on bike

One motor would be enough for this bike, but to keep the power symmetrical and safe, two motors are best. — Dual Front Side Axle Motors

The Baserunner controllers mount out of sight up under the front hood. — A Baserunner Controller for each motor.

The Grin power taps allow me to run the front and rear lights from the downtube battery. Additionally, a DC to DC converter is also supplied for the 12 volts needed for the video system — Grin Power Taps
