I wanted to build a speedy, every day trike for my daily commute, my shopping, my family and friends visits. In short, this is the reason for not using my car, as much as possible and still have lots of fun while riding it. I transformed my good speedy muscular recumbent trike into a 70ish km/h fast vehicle (max speed tested in the countryside).
It's pushed by a rear 9C RH212 (Fast 10.6 RPM/V version) with statorade fluid inside. The biggest front chainring is 56 and the back, a classic 11-32 cassette.
It has a homemade battery nominal 61V 20AH (17S4P Samsung 50E - approx 1200 WH of capacity) and approx. 40A max.
I love the natural feeling of the pedal torque sensor and the regen that can push back up to 20% of energy while riding in town.
