Custom Built E-bike, designed to go far, go fast, carry heavy loads, and go through any terrain.
Powered by 2 Phaserunner controllers, Running on 72V with a total capacity of 55AH or 3960WH.
My minimum range going as hard as it can handle (3500W peak front, 2500W peak rear) I can get 100km.
Maximum range can be 300km+ depending on conditions/speed/weight/solar-output/pedal input.
Front wheel have a slow wind All Axle Hub, for high torque, and regen enabled, generates 2kw on high speed fast decelerations.
Rear has a 1000W MG62 Bafang hub motor, that pulls the bike to a top speed of 75Km/h.
At full charge and good conditions, will pull 0-60km/h in under 5 seconds.
All batteries where built by me, all packs have BMS designed to link in parallel, so 4 battery packs all link as one, and can output a total of 240A at 72v, limited by BMS, cells can output more. One triangle pack, a back-rack pack, and 2 side saddle packs.
Trailer has 2 100w solar panels, and extra plastic to help enclose it, keeping my things clean and dry. I use the trailer for camping trips, but mostly for my e-bike repair service, where I put all my tools in it,(as seen in photo) and go help people with e-bike issues.
I have 2 high voltage Satiators in the front rack, to give me 720W charging speed. as well as a 12V battery for the lights/horn/alarm and a charge for it.
Built the racks and re-enforcing frame myself, so hold all the batteries and components in place, and make sure the frame can handle all the weight at high speed. Back-Rack is designed to sit on, with custom foot hold to carry a passenger.
Custom made trailer hitch in the back, is stronger than OEM design, that did not allow hub motors to be installed with it.
Log jumper guard on the bottom bracket to protect chainring and wires while jumping over fallen trees.
200mm hydraulic disc breaks and regen breaking combined with fat tires give great breaking performance.
Have put 10,000km on the bike at this point, and 7 years of constantly breaking and upgrading till it evolved to the point it is now.
