Recumbent Bike
The V-Rex is the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. Adding a Bafang G310 rear hub motor made it even more so. I didn't want the bike to scream "EBIKE", so I mounted the 36V downtube battery with the Phaserunner controller crossways on the seat supports. My longest ride to date has been 84 miles (135 km) over 5-1/2 hours at an average speed of 15 mph (24 kph) with a vertical ascent of 2020 ft. (615 meters). Starting with a full charge of 41.9 volts, the ride consumed 8.8 volts.
