Recumbent Bike
This is my solar-powered recumbent ebike which I designed for the Sun Trip 2024 expedition.
Equipped with an EM3EV 52V 1000Wh battery and a Crystalyte G40 motor, this bike was built to take on the roads from France to the Sahara Desert in Morocco and back again, using only solar energy. (And lots of oreos.)
The bike itself is an Azub Six recumbent, with a custom built mount for a 310W solar panel that can be angled towards the sun to maximise solar input. I'm using a Cycle Analyst with Digiaux input and solar firmware to monitor input and output, and the Baserunner as a motor controller.
