To overcome trike deficiencies lack of speed on hills,long drags and plowing into headwinds .To overcome wheel spin on the really steep stuff ,great acceleration in traffic and to end the annoyance of being passed by 'Roadies'.

Only one motor running at 52v ,It runs and brakes straight with no undue tyre wear.No overheating with wheel cover fitted. Hardly detectable as an Etrike. — The mighty All Axle

Had to braze peg and lug on steering arm for the torque arm. Slightly longer high tensile axle needed and longer spacers for disc caliper.Still steers beautifully. — Mounting mods

Used cardboard dummy battery to get this one right. Three point mounting .Rubber mounted frame clamp to the front . A rear support bolted to trike frame and last,a support to a clamp on the seat frame. The Baserunner Controller makes for a neat setup . — Rock solid alloy plate battery mount

Up in the hills .I can carry a spare battery but don't as I am getting at least 150 miles from an 85 % charge .I take my time on the long really steep stuff...gearing down,but on the short really steep 'uns I blast it. — Long ride

The motor stays in place (It is slid on to the axle held by one bolt) . A little portable stand ( modified camera tripod)under the cross tube raises the wheel and off comes the tyre. — Punctures No Big Deal
