CA3_Switch
3 Level Auxiliary Input Switch for CA3 Device, with Resistors for 1.6, 2.5, and 3.3V. Not for use with CA3's with MFSwitch attachment.
This 3 way switch is used as an auxiliary input device for the V3 Cycle Analyst. It has resistors inside to produce 3 different voltages for each switch position and can be used to select between three different CA3 mode presets or to change one of the limit parameters on the fly while riding.
Examples:
- Setting 3 different maximum speeds allowed by the CA3 (especially for regen braking beyond max speed where applicable)
- Instant switching between 3 CA3 presets for entirely different sets of settings (Low/Medium/Ultimate)
NOTE: This switch was developed before the MFSwitch product. If it is plugged into a CA3 with MFSwitch combination, then the 3 voltages will be higher than expected and will not fall into the expected range to select mode presets. [It is possible to make it work with an MFSwitch device by adding an additional resistor to the 5V bus.]
