The powerful eZee geared hub motor is an awesome choice for ebike applications that require extra hill climbing or hauling capabilities, but still want the benefit of freewheeling for zero additional wheel drag when pedaling unassisted. This motor uses a screw-on freewheel rather than a cassette freehub, and we recommend purchasing one with the kit as the freewheels from bike stores regularly go below 14 teeth.
If a downtube battery pack is selected, we will mount the baserunner controller inside the battery cradle for a very clean install.
The barebones system uses a throttle with an integrated on/off switch and voltage readout, but doesn't have a fully featured display or options for PAS / Torque sensors. This makes it great for simple and clean ebike builds that want to avoid any additional complexity.
